Poker Winning Hands Odds

A reasonably experienced player can play around 500 games of video poker an hour. At that rate you would see a royal flush about every 80 hours of play. But bear in mind that this does not suggest that the machine is ‘set’ to win that often.

It’s just that statistically, given the odds of a particular hand coming up, that’s the sort of frequency you might expect. There are no guarantees. You might be very lucky and get two jackpots,or you might not get one in twice that number of games.
